Twilight
Isabella Swan is a relatively average teenager with a relatively average life. She hearkens from Phoenix, Arizona, where she lives with her mother. But when Bella moves to Forks, Washington to be with her father, her life quickly becomes anything but average.
Meet the Cullen kids: Alice, Jasper, Emmett, Rosalie, and Edward-- all five of whom attend Bella's new high school in Forks. Classmates explain to Bella that the Cullens band together and rarely interact with anyone besides themselves, but Bella can tell just by looking that there's something peculiar about them. It doesn't take long to discover what it is.
Bella and Edward become caught in a tense situation in which Edward rescues Bella from a potentially violent fate. His behavior during this encounter succeeds in raising further suspicions, and eventually, Edward is left with little choice but to confess the truth: that he, and his family, are vampires.
The couple grows infinitely close after this revelation, and soon, they realize they're hopelessly in love. But because Edward inexplicably finds Bella's scent exceptionally mouth-watering, his willpower is tested to the breaking point whenever they're near, making Bella's very life the wager hanging in the balance.
Bella and the Cullens barely have time to register these life-altering developments when another coven of hostile vampires appear and threaten the lives of all those living in Forks. It falls upon the Cullens to protect Bella as they simultenously battle to defend themselves, hide their identity, and master their own desire for her blood.
New Moon
An earth-shattering change to Bella's life makes the previous year's tribulations child's play, for this time, she doesn't have Edward at her side. After he leaves her behind and promises that neither he nor his family will ever return, Bella is devastated and left to pick up the pieces of her life alone.
Until, that is, a budding friendship with Jacob Black fills part of the void and acts as the only source of comfort in Bella's new Edward-less existence. But this new relationship presents its own set of hurdles, and when Jacob begins behaving mysteriously, Bella soon realizes that there is far more to her friend than meets the eye.
As she struggles to unravel the mystery of Jacob Black and the Quileute tribe of La Push, Bella also faces a serious internal struggle as to whether she's capable of letting go of Edward; and if so, is she ready to love Jacob the way he loves her? Even though she doesn't yet really know who-- or what-- Jacob is?
But before she can finish mending her shattered heart, answering these impossible questions, and solving these endless mysteries, there comes an unexpected visitor at her door-- someone she thought she'd never see again.
Eclipse
When a sudden spike in violent murders paralyzes nearby Seattle, Bella and the Cullens immediately realize the true nature of the crimes: another coven of vampires-- a very large coven, measuring by the number of deaths-- has once again invaded Washington. Could they be somehow related to the smaller coven that had targeted Bella two years previously?
This question is answered when the attacks move closer to home, and Bella returns to her room one night to discover that someone had torn it apart in search of her. What's more disturbing, however, is that Alice could not see it coming-- meaning that whoever was behind these murders, whoever was behind the raid of Bella's house, knew about the Cullens' psychic gifts, and worse, knew how to evade them.
In the midst of this terrifying mystery, Bella is also caught in the middle of an ancient war between vampires and werewolves. Her dedication to Jacob and her love for Edward clash as the two compete for her affection. Bella struggles to remain neutral, to love both her vampire family and werewolf friends equally, but the two parties make it nearly impossible, resulting in a final battle that changes the entire course of the story.[/i]
Breaking Dawn
Everything inside me came undone as I stared at the tiny porcelain face of the half-vampire, half-human baby. All the lines that held me to my life were sliced apart in swift cuts, like clipping the strings to a bunch of balloons. Everything that made me who I was - my love for the dead girl upstairs, my love for my father, my loyalty to my new pack, the love for my other brothers, my hatred for my enemies, my home, my name, my self - disconnected from me in that second - snip, snip, snip - and floated up into space. I was not left drifting. A new string held me where I was.
I really love this whole series. I found them really awsome.
