I just love this book. It's about Harry DeTamble who has this rare disorder that causes him to go bouncing around in time with little or no warning, he has no control of when he goes or where he goes. It's through his traveling that he actually meets his wife when she was a little girl, he returns to her life many times before they catch up to each other in the present.
It's a great story of Love and Life. It also answers why would anyone sit around and wait ? As it seems Claire is always waiting on Henry.
